John: Sex-packed angel

And the men behind this new avatar of the sex symbol areFaisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood of Strings. The Pakistani band has shot a songwith John and are quite kicked about it. ���We have always had models orourselves in our music videos.But with every new album, we try somethingdifferent and John is our latest change,��� says Faisal.
Stringshad earlier worked with John while shooting for the movie Zinda���s song YehHai Meri Kahani. ���We really liked working with John and Sanjay Dutt in thefilm. Bilal, John and I are very good friends and we had thought that ifsomething good comes up then we will give it a shot together,��� saysFaisal. When Bilal was composing the song, both of them visualised an angel.���When we were making this song Koi Aanay Wala Hai, we visualised a guywith wings... an angel actually. And when we thought of the video, we could notthink of anyone else but John. And since he also liked the concept, he shot thevideo. The way John looks and the way he is, to make him look like an angelwasn���t tough at all,��� shares Faisal. The music video was shot inKuala Lumpur.
As they look forward to releasing their song in India,does the debate over Pakistani singers make any difference to them? ���Musichas worked so well for Indo-Pak relations. I grew up listening to Kishore Kumar,Lataji and Ashaji. Pakistani music got popularity some 10 years back. Not thatwe haven���t had artists before that, but the exposure came to us just adecade back. India has a wider audience and the passion for music here is farmore than in Pak.���
